Finally, in amongst all the work and school, a vacation!
And not one that only involves just visiting a neighboring state.

For the first time in about five years I'm finally getting out of the Midwest for a little while. This time around, I'm spending some time in San Diego, which I've never been to, mixed in with a few days in LA to visit some relatives and catch a couple of television tapings. (Leno and Ferguson, both whom I've also never seen live.)

Ah, a proper vacation and the ocean, how I've missed thee.

Ah yes, summer is pretty much on the horizon. It's hard to believe it's technically a few weeks away. I'm looking forward to it, but it feels like spring wasn't really here much at all. Kind of like a roommate who pays rent, but stops by maybe once or twice a week because they're crashing at somebody else's pad.

Here we had a few hot days with a gentle cool breeze every once in a while. The rest was filled with lots of rain, humidity, a few below normal temperatures, or some mix of all of the for-mentioned. Maybe I'm just bias to spring because my birthday falls during it. Ah, oh well. Summer is on the way. I'm looking forward to the fun times and adventures it shall bring.

Another blog. Another video for your viewing pleasure. This was yet another video short we had to make in 24 hours. Except this time around we won the competition, collecting awards for Best Film, Best Writing, Best Direction, and Best Sound Design. Hope ya dig it.

I'm bummed anytime I have a hoodie in the washer or dryer and the pull string somehow gets pulled out and I have to re-thread it back through. It's happened enough, I've become a pro at putting the strings back in. I'm just not a big fan of doing so.

Hope all had a good holiday week and got everything they wanted. We got a ton of snow here in the Midwest. Who's up for skiing, snowboarding and/or sledding?

A blast from the past, one of my earlier short films from a few years ago. We had to create it and throw it together in under 24 hours for a contest. Suprisingly, this was created under no influence of any illegal substances or Hollywood studio demands. I like to think of it as a cross between Hitchcock's "The Birds" and "Attack of The Killer Tomatoes." Enjoy!

This makes me psyched for the new album.

I decided to update the ol' profile with some more pictures. Eventually I'll add some more albums. Just felt like it needed a little more sprucing up.

Have you ever experienced a broken gas pump? One that when you go to squeeze it to pump your gas, five seconds later, it clicks back at you? Man I hate those... You can either try seeing if you can go to a better pump. Or, what I usually choose, try to squeeze it ever so lightly. Enough, so there's no clickage, and then guesstimate a decent number to stop at. Good thing I know roughly how much it takes to fill my tank. But man is that annoying. Felt good to vent. I'm done.
