It appears that fortune smiles on me, or at least my hard work is paying off. This is the beginning. The beginning of the beginning. I have taken a new instructor who will guide me in my art until I can get out of the Navy and pursue a formal art education using my G.I. Bill. However, you don't need money, or professional teachers to be good at art, you just need paper, a pencil and the willingness to create your own worlds. I fall in love with the characters and worlds I create because a part of my and my soul goes into the paper each and every time. I promise I will keep this passion until I die. That starts with me getting together a solid portfolio to show off at the next Comic-Con. I'll even fly out to San Diego if work demands it. With my new teacher I can't fail. I simply won't allow myself. With that being said, expect to see much more detailed work hitting my profile. Also, to keep my right side of my brain healthy I will be pushing my body physically to the limit. I'll need this as I'll be getting trained by ex-SEALs very soon. Busting down doors during the day, and drawing worlds and fantasies by night. My life itself could be a comic-book. haha, cheers all!!!
