The Jonsi concert was incredible! The most intimate and visually creative show I've ever seen. Liberty Hall in Lawrence, Kansas is the perfect place to see a show of this caliber.

Now it's back to normal life. At least I have a weekend to prepare myself for the return. With alcohol.

I also realize that I have a lot of work to do musically. Now, all I have to do is convince four other people that nothing is more important than our future in music. N O T H I N G.

I'm going to dress in a sorta french calvary outfit with face paint and feathers in my hair for the Jonsi concert. Don't know why, but I felt like I should do something that is not quite myself. Not only is this the furthest I have ever driven to see a show, but it will be the first time I go to a show of a higher magnitude. On my birthday no less. Might as well go all out for my 29th.

Last time I did anything out of the ordinary was for my 22nd bday. I dressed in drag for that one. Right, B-Rad?

I got drunk with my mother last night and let her see and hear the world of music that I live in compared to that of the the world and music that the majority is into or apart of. It was a nice time. I glad that I did something nice for the woman. Because she only wants to be here for me and be apart of my life.

Got a new pair of them Texas boots. I think I'm getting a bit bored of my ol' t-shirt, jeans, and shoes routine. But still don't feel comfortable dressing up fancy like. So.......Cowboy-ish? Yee-haw!

Finally found my next tattoo. "Life without music would be an error, a hardship, an exile."

This past weekend of shows was fantastic. Good attendances. Pretty good sales. And the people we met were amazing. Especially in Huntsville. Our hosts there hooked us up with a good payout, free food, and free place to stay. Not to mention they were all artists and musicians, themselves. The girl we stayed with is a folk/hippy musician named Linky Dickson. Killer voice on this girl. And killer collection of instruments.

The next thing on the agenda is a long drive to Lawrence, Kansas to see Jonsi (singer of Sigur Ros) on his first world tour for his first solo album entitled "Go." This is going to be amazing. And probably the most interesting thing I will have done on my birthday. This will tell you everything.

Yes Yes. I've been busy. Just got off a little tour with Words In Windows and Blinded By Bears.
Working on promotion and getting album reviews for our new E.P. Writing for our next full length. Playing Final Fantasy XIII. Doing the book keeping at my step fathers office. And sleeping with a younger girl, ignoring her, feeling like shit, and going right back. I'm not lying to her or anything. I've told her numerous times that I'm only in it for the sex. Still feel bad for not giving her what she deserves. But I can't seem to fight my "loneliness", sometimes.

I'll be heading out for three shows on thursday. Waco/Huntsville/Bryan, TX. Playing with The Rocketboys, Words In Windows, and Blinded by Bears.

Got a new computer. Macbook pro 4g 250g. Now I have to upload all my cd's (about 800) 'cause i erased my ipod like a dumb ass.

Been listening to Gifts from Enola, Jonsi, Nathan Phillips, and Words in Windows.

There isn't much going on in my life besides music. So I don't know what to talk about.

There is a girl who has offered herself as a fuck buddy. But she is a bit obnoxious and wants to hang out, talk, and vent. Not to mention it's hard for me to want to have sex with a girl who doesn't inspire me. Unless I'm drunk, of course. I don't mess around with this girls feelings and I'm 100% honest with her. Which means I'm quite an asshole with her. But she keeps telling me she likes that. I often feel like a piece of shit for continuing our little "friendship," but I keep myself away from women so much that I sometimes need that momentary comfort.

On another girl aspect......I've made peace with the girl who broke my heart. I truly don't know if I'm over her. But....if I'm not....I'm going to try to keep her in my life and use the madness that may fall upon me to write music.

It's still a couple days before I leave for Colorado but my car is already packed. I'm too excited. It's time to disconnect.

First stop will be somewhere in The Cibola National Forest in New Mexico. Probably Red Canyon. But who knows.

Then on to Gunnison National Forest in Colorado.
