Ok so I'm stuck on a drill site in bumfuck on the border of ny and pa by myself..... I watch mud flow through the equipment and if something goes wrong I either fix it or call someone....that's about the extent of my life right now..... oh and I might be mobilizing to go back to iraq.....yeah I think that sums it up.

Let's see if i can get some opinions. So the night before i leave to go to Texas to train for my job for 3 weeks, I catch my girl acting suspicious. So after the bar i finally get a chance to grab her phone and look at it and here she has been texting her ex about how much she misses him, needs him, loves him, and is not complete without him. She claims that she doesn't know why she said it and that she is not actually going to go back to him. I'm so pissed of and lost about it that i just wish i could get a straight story from her or get some guidance. Oh and just for reference, after my training I was going to use my first pay check to buy her a ring.

I'd like to get some opinions. So my best friend Mike is in Afganistan and while he's been there I've been looking out for his girlfriend like she was my sister. I also have another friend who I've looked at as my little brother for a while. Mike and me both looked to him like the little brother we never had. Well less than a month ago Mike's girlfriend/my sister broke up with him and he comes home on leave on the 29th. So now ex-girlfriend. But now me and Mike's little brother and mikes ex-girlfriend are together but mike doesn't know. Now I've never hit a woman before unless she wanted me to but i swear i just might back hand her and i'll let the little brother to mike. But seriously what does a person do in a situation like this? It's like a very bad fucking soap opera. And the worst of it is that Mike is only home for 2 weeks then back to the war zone..... i feel a little better now

just found out my uncle has stage 4 throat cancer. just lovely. the day i fly into country my pap dies and now my uncle may be on the way. i fucking hate iraq.
