So, like I mentioned, the little baby bird I found died today. Birds are so damn fragile. He choked on something, we think. Made maxx sad. So I was just feeling miserable all day.

Then I decided I needed to get out so I went to go see Dr. H do his thing at Substance. Good stuff. Made maxx feel better.

Then I was chitty chatting with Alice and who should show up but one of my oldest bestest friends who I havn't seen since New Years 2000. Horaah!

By the end of the night (now) I feel hella better. I still miss the little birdy, but, you know, I'm dealing better.

I got in an epic racoon battle last night. They came into my house through the cat door. I just wanted them out, so I tried to scare them out. But racoons are that stupid kind of animal that wants to fight as opposed to run away. So pretty soon, I was the one running. After quite some hell, they finally got on their way.

Then I couldn't get to sleep because my adrenaline was racing. So I was up all night. I studied for my English midterm. Yes, I have weekend school.

Then I took my midterm and got in an argument with the teacher. The last assignment was to compare and contrast 2 careers. I compared being a Ghostbuster to being a Vampire Slayer. She said my paper was too in-jokey. To which I responded "Zuel."

She didn't get it.

Then I came home. I hadn't slept, eaten or drank anything since the day before. I started to do crazy stuff like email people I hadn't seen in 5 years and apoligize for shit I never did. Then I thought I was growing a neanderthal brow. Then I passed out on the floor next to my purring kitty.

I woke up and he was sleeping next to me. I love when cats do that. I split some sushi with him. Then I felt all sane again.

No TV and no beer make Homer something something...

Wow. I'm updating this thing a lot.

I saw "To Kill a Mockingbird" with some friends today. Damn what a good movie. Came out the same year as "Lawrence". I hate to say it, but they don't make 'em like they used to.

In other bird related news, my baby bird is kicking ass. He's all stumbling around his box today. He's gonna be up and out in no time. I'm happy. I took some pictures of the little guy. I'll stick them up here when I develop them.

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo right on the arch of my foot. You know, underneath. Would that hurt? Is that a rhetorical question? Is this?

A cold little baby bird was lying on the sidewalk. I don't know where it came from; there were no trees nearby. It was near dead, so I took it home and warmed it up. Then it started peepin' so I fed it some mushed up sunflower seeds. Now I have a baby bird I'm looking after.

Do I have "Animal Rescue" tatooed on my forehead and I just don't see it? This kind of thing is constantly happening to me. Or maybe it's just that I actually take the time to help.

On a different note, does anyone want to be my friend? I'm sick of my profile laughing at me.

I tried Vanilla Coke today. "Reward My Curiousity" MY ASS! Avoid that nasty stuff. It tastes like ...well... Vanilla Coke. What did I expect?

And now there's a skunk rooting around my backyard and my cat wants to chase after it. That happened once before and it ended with a tomato soup bath for everyone involved. Damn skunk. But did you know skunks are amazingly cute up close?

I just finished syncing up dailies for a horror movie today. Now I'm useless for a while again. Damn the digital age; it almost gets rid of the need for Assitant Editors. Oh well. I want to go to San Diego and see the Panda.
