So, it's official. A&E, the people behind Biography, Hoarders, Intervention and Dog the Bounty Hunter are producing a COPS like reality TV series that will be focusing on the law enforcement career of everyone's favorite Good guy Bad ass.
Steven Seagal
"Steven Seagal: Lawman" is a new Real-Life series that will chronicle martial arts expert and international film star Steven Seagal's extraordinary life in law enforcement. This is no joke. It turns out for the past 20 years Seagal has been a fully commissioned deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana.

So, I went to Rue Morgue: Festival of Fear, part of FanExpo 2009 in downtown Toronto earlier today.
Met some fellow SG members and a few SG's themselves.
I know! Lets play a game, who can name all the SG's they see in the pictures below?

I also got some pictures of various celebs. Not much for autographs myself.
Though I would have liked one from Bruce Campbell:
That's it for now. I'm sure there's more pictures to come from other members.
So, being 6'4 and full of brains, I decided to do the smart thing when one of the worst thunderstorms this year rolled through Toronto tonight.....go stand under a tree in an open field with a metal umbrella and record it!
UPDATE!!! Video 3 below was aired on CP24!!
Some good rumbles and flashes below:

But this is the FUN video. The rain came down in a curtain and then, as I was walking back home....well, I'll let the video explain:
Pictures!!!
Went on a trek to the Airport today....no reason other than I was bored. A new friend, Amber, joined me.
And when I got home, my sister had come back from the east coast with some "thank you" gifts for taking care of her small zoo.

Skipped off work today. It was too nice to stay indoors.

And then at Sears....OMG. I saw this AMAZING sale rack. All items upto 50% off!! And they're right, this is certainly in the "up to" classification:

WOW! WHAT A DEAL!!
I asked an employee, he went and checked...Yes, that sale price is accurate. Those jeans are indeed 19 cents off the sticker price!

Well, I'm on day one of 14 (I think) house/dog/cat sitting for my sister. Not really a big deal, she only lives 100ft down the road.
That being said, I'll prolly stay at her pace the entire time. She has a 50" widescreen LCD....hehehe.
HDMI PS3 here I come!

Well, I said I would post some, so here are a few of the knives I have currently:
I have a few more smaller blades, but those are the ones I want to display. Now, if I only had a place to PUT this display.....heh
So, I was walking out behind my place the other day and saw some yummy looking berries. Not being an idiot, I decided to do a little research on them before attempting to ingest any.
Good thing I did.
Say hello to Atropa Belladonna or what is more commonly known as Deadly Nightshade:

This innocent looking plant is one of the most toxic found in the Western hemisphere.
All parts of the plant contain Tropane Alkaloids, toxins that include Scopolamine and Hyoscyamine which can cause a bizarre delirium and hallucinations.
The drug Atropine is derived from the plant.
Consumption of two to five berries by children, ten to twenty by adults or the ingestion of a single leaf of the plant can be lethal.
The symptoms of Nightshade poisoning include dilated pupils, sensitivity to light, blurred vision, tachycardia, loss of balance, staggering, headache, rash, flushing, dry mouth and throat, slurred speech, urinary retention, constipation, confusion, hallucinations, delirium, and convulsions.....FUN!
The plant's deadly symptoms are caused by Atropine's disruption of the parasympathetic nervous system's ability to regulate non-volitional/subconscious activities such as sweating, breathing, and heart rate.
Nightshade has occasionally been used as a recreational drug because of the vivid hallucinations and delirium that it produces. These hallucinations are most commonly described as very unpleasant, however, and recreational use is considered extremely dangerous because of the high risk of unintentional fatal overdose.
