Wow. If you're short crew and want an experienced bowman, let me know! I'm surprised a boat that big has running backstays. They must be on some hefty winches.

I can't believe it. Rained in LA the whole time, tons of it. Couldn't even see the eclipse. I got home an hour ago and it appears that it hasn't rained in at least 24 hours, which means I probably would've saw it here. Just my luck. In my opinion LA isn't worth it if the weather isn't great, not to visit anyway. Plan your trip better than I did.
