Well, by my reckoning my strange promo free 3 months back on SG will elapse in 10 days.
I'm checked the site out a fair bit, but to be honest there's nothing to inspire me to renew my account. I'm sure if I put some effort into building new friendships on here that there'd be some payoff, but I really can't be arsed these days.
No offence to the actuall staff/girls, but the site content really doesn't grab me anymore either.
Initially I had looked forward to catching up with some people I only knew through here, but they don't seem inclined to communicate. Obviously I have picked up some strange internet-vectored smell in the last 3 years.
So yeah. If you know me through here and not out in the great wide world and want to maintain contact, then drop me a message or comment of some kind before 29th April.

It's a Sunday evening, and you know what that means. Clicking refresh on the browser in idle apathy while you wonder where the hell the weekend has gone, what happened to your grand plans. And your hair, in my case. Nothing to do but listen to mclusky and eat apple strudel while the cats eyeball you with cold feline hunger.
Well, that's what passes for Sunday in the Organic household anyway.
I went to see Watchmen, of course. I am surprised how many non-comic geeks are doing the same. Speaking as a huge, huge comic geek I was fairly delighted with it. The best that could have been done with the sublime and unfilmable source material.
Was essentially told on Friday that my workload is about to double. No reassurance of extra money or promotion with that, naturally. Oh well. Stress can be exciting, right?

Same old, really. Life, work, sleep, wild socialising. Well, maybe not so much of the last one. But enough to keep me going. Money worries, but what's new? I handed in my notice on my job - yeah, long overdue. You're right. Nah, don't have another lined up yet. Fuck knows what I'm gonna do but I have to get out of there. Something will come up.
