Here in Mississippi laying in bed. This state blows me away. I think I might have to elaborate on some of these feelings, but at the moment there is a religious debate going on in my room and I have to restrain myself from a rant, I shall return.
Took a little break to get things goin in life, but back where I belong now. A lot has been happening to the group, good, good , good things... but for now we are happy with being on the road playing for new folks all over. Would like to start meeting a few more folks from this community though, just a handful so far.
Life is good, and for once it seems almost completely void of bullshit. I just had to record this day.
So everything still seems to be progressing in an extremely positive direction, but we find ourselves in an awkward in-between. Not yet do we have the privilege of avoiding lameo gigs, and Birmingham provided our most recent debacle. In leu of giving a long narrative explanation I figured Id let you use your imagination... I will give you a few choice words to start your palate...

Great gig moment from a recent show...
Sitting on the balcony of the green room, looking out onto the lovely state of Arizona, and smoking a fine joint rolled by Ron Jeremy discussing life John Popper and the boys from Blues Traveler.
Life don't suck
The album is almost done!

Apparently Tuesdays are my post days. Anyway, just thought Id mention hear that I put up a video I found on Youtube a fan put up of my band playing at Smith's the other night. The song is called Sexy Black Dress, and it was completely improved but proved to be a very cool moment in the show. Ben the singer was really sick that night but the boy doesn't let that slow him down much. Feel free to let me know what you think about it, if folks dig it I can always throw up more.
Progressive digression, that was today's theme I suppose. The guys and I played at Smith's last night and in doing so laid the foundation of something really special. We found our sound as a group, and we reached out to a community that embraced us... it was magic. The best part of it all is that was the first show with the new sound, and as such it is the absolute worst that it will ever sound, we will only move up from this point. As soon as I achieved that high I knew that my day to day would have to change, so this morning, after the most feeble attempt at an exam I have ever made, I withdrew from college. I am officially falling into a stereotype and loving every second of it. So bring on the sex and drugs!
Figure I'll finally start being a part of the community here, not quite sure how but Im determined. I think I'm goin to start a blog diary about the upcoming months as they hold what i feel to be the next big step in my life.
