Sorry I missed your birthday. Is there some kind of alert that lets people know that someone on their friends' list is having a birthday?

My birrthday was last Friday. A few people i'd never heard from fefore wished me a happy b'day. I'm wondering how they knew, since I doubt that they visit my page. Just another thing about SG that i'm still confused about even after all this time.

My frustration with the Sox is getting to the critical point. My daughter and I are going to the game on Friday. They look like they're self-destructing. No clutch hitting, prolonged slumps, especially by Jermaine. Inconsistent hitting by everyone except A.J. and Pods.

The only reliable reliever has been Thornton. I cringe every time Linebrink or Dotel come into the game. Jenks has been far from lights out.

Now for my pet peeve. Why trade for Peavy? I think Richard has a very bright future and Poreda was supposed to be their #1 pitching prospect and "untouchable". Why trade the future for a National League pitcher on the disabled list? If Richard had been on the team, they could have benched Contreras all this time. Every time he pitches, it's an automatic loss.

I could go on, but what's the use. I'm guessing school started this week down there. My granddaughter started first grade yesterday in North Carolina.
