Treatment was unsuccessful... but the force in him is strong
We're watching and waiting..

He was granted a wish from a local wish granting organization...
what was his wish you ask???????
To train to be a Jedi.
We are going to Disney World and they boys are attending Jedi Training Academy..
the will get little robes.. and lightsabres.. and learn from a jedi master how to use the force...
then all of a sudden darth vader will rise up from the floor and scare the crap out of them..and they
will engage in a battle...
craziness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we're booking to go for the end of January but it all depends on his counts.
I'm still addicted to Derby........................one day I'll meet Trixxx on the track

seriously...for a 7 year old to sit through an 8 hour infusion in a tiny little room... I tell ya--this Jedi has patience.. strength.. and wisdom beyond his years!

Life has been somewhat of a roller coaster ride...
my son's 8 month remission from his chronic blood disorder
ended at the end of May..
just a week before I started a new job.. with much less flex.
Thankfully Dad has taken a night job to be with him during the day..
but it's been tough to let someone else handle the twice a week trips to
cancercare..
both of the boys have been seeing the child life therapist which has been alright..
because they're both having a tough time this time around...
we all are.
My therapy has been roller derby.. trixxx has inspired me
and it's been amazing....

camping, fishing, and many adventures
