As one who thrives in fall, it is disturbing to be living in a place where fall doesn't seem to come (coastal Georgia).
North Carolina was bad enough, with no guaranteed winter snow, but man, I long for those changing leaves. Not to mention the way that the Autumn air is filled with a unique energy that just keeps me filled with anticipation.
I had a job interview today and the manager was so unprofessional as to not even show up. That almost deflated my self-esteem, until I came to my senses and realized that her lack of professionalism reflects negatively on her, not me.
Uh, since I don't really expect anyone but me will ever read these I guess I don't have to worry about entertaining anyone...
