The new girlperson returned to Los Angeles yesterday, so we miss her. We're talking about taking a trip out soonish, and I hope it works out. We'll just have to see.

In other news, I at least know I can make up for lost time. Today, I wrote one short paper for this week, read some philosophy of mind while we did laundry, and wrote about 500 words of a 2500 word paper due in about a week. I've got this weekend and next weekend to work on it, so I should be fine. It's just good to know that when I'm not stoned or otherwise occupied, I just work if I get a little bored. It makes surviving grad school a bit easier.

I've got to get some more stuff done tomorrow, but it shouldn't be a big deal. We don't have any plans until after 6, anyway.

My sinus congestion is finally breaking up now that I'm not smoking constantly. I actually managed to eat some cereal and milk without upsetting my stomach or coughing my lungs out. I'm still on a mostly-tea diet as far as liquids, though. Good thing we have lots of tea, including some loose Earl Grey. No masala chai until I can take milk effortlessly, though.

There's not much more to say now, I suppose. Just killing some time on here.
