So both the wife and I are still kinda out of sorts in the health department. For me it looks like I may have developed allergies. Still having congestion but not nearly as bad as it was. Also I'll be going to a sleep specialist within the next month or two; think maybe my sleep apnea has come back and that's why I've been so dead tired these last few months. My wife has been in quite a bit of pain due in large part to her fibro. Plus her doc is sending her to both a hematologist (due to some alarming blood test results) and rhuematologist (hopefully to help with the fibro pain). But thankfully our son seems to be in the clear, no more ear infections or pneumonia symptoms. Now if we could just get him to start shittin' in the potty that'd be divine....
It's kinda funny, the wife's been mentioning how she's getting older and wants another baby. Every time she brings it up we end up banging that night. Should I be annoyed that it seems the only time she wants to have sex is when she's contemplating having another kid? At least for now I figure what the hell, don't care about the reason at least I'm getting some lol.
Went and saw Days of Future Past today. I think it was an A-ok flick. My feelings toward the 'X' franchise have been very topsy turvy. I loved the first X-Men, loved X2 even more, wasn't as keen on The Last Stand but it was still 'ok' to me. Then that atrocious Origins: Wolverine came out and I damn near gave up on the X franchise because of it! Then when First Class came out I was rather torn. On the one hand they shit all over any kinda continuity and character history (from the comics perspective) and on the other I think McAvoy and Fassbender were amazing. So in the end I just convinced myself that the movies just fall under another timeline and aren't a representation of the 'standard' Earth-616. I believe The Wolverine redeemed the franchise, but then again I'm a huge Wolvie fan and was glad to see him get down to his ass kickin' roots. And then we come full circle to Days of Future Past. I won't give a detailed accounting of it (mainly cause it's waaaay to late and I really need to hit the hay lol) but as I said it was A-ok to me, I'd say a solid 'B' grade. Oh I will say though to WAIT UNTIL THE CREDITS ARE OVER or you'll miss out on a scene from what I'm assuming will be the next 'X' title. ;-)
