Not much to report I'm afraid.

The website is up and I'm spending a fair bit of time going through it to check it for mistakes, very boring.

I'm on Day 3 of my 5 day week in the taxi office again, god it's dull. Some of the drivers are really pissing me off lately with their attitude over the radio so I've decided to start writing it all down in the book for the boss to see. I won't be treated with such contempt for no reason. Some of them don't know I'm actually a driver too and understand their problems sometimes. The other half of them think that as I'm a young (sounding) woman that I don't know my arse from my elbow. They will learn.

Still having lots of dreams about Stinky but weirdly enough the ex before that keeps appearing in my dreams too. I haven't seen him for 10 years! It's all very strange and I don't know what it all means but I don't enjoy going to bed at night much at the moment, for fear of what will occur in my stoopid lil head frown These dreams affect me for days, I wish they would go away.

Tessie is doing really well now too. We got her latest blood results back and her blood sugar levels are finally starting to reduce at last. This is fantastic news as she's already on 14 units of insulin a day and the maximum for her weight is 15 so I was starting to panic about what we would be able to do soon. So anyway, the vet has suggested we keep her at 14 units for the next 6 weeks; this is incredible and twice as long as they usually leave it between blood tests so now I am a little bit more hopeful that we're starting to really see a positive difference (and for now she's stopping peeing in the night, so no more nappy fun either! biggrin )

I'm off to the cinema later to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall. As much as his teeth repulse me, I still love Russell Brand. He's one of those fucked up genius types and I find them fascinating.

Talking of fucked up genius types, I am becoming more and more obsessed with Derren Brown. So much so, I've downloaded all his old programmes on 4oD and spend most nights up the taxi office watching them. I'm supposed to be using that time to get the website done and a mailshot written and produced etc., not watching him! It's very frustrating but I just can't help myself!

So, that's about it from me today, I need to get on with some work. Hope you're all enjoying your bank holiday weekend (UK peeps) and if you're from further afield, I hope your Monday is a gentle one that eases you into a good week smile

xx

EDIT: Sars just text me to say she's really poorly and can't make the cinema. I'm a little relieved as I can now get stuck into my work today. We can always do the cinema another time soon. And it's always nice to have things to look forward to smile Also, I've just been to Asda and I couldn't find any tins of Baked Beans with Vegetarian Sausages. Heinz used to do them but I can't seem to get hold of them anymore. They're soooooooo yummy on toast and I'm going to throw a right tantrum if I can't get hold of any soon, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms! mad

Lots to respond to...

How long ago did you find out Tessie had diabetes? I guess I'd not realized it was something dogs got too! My son is a type 1 diabetic, has been for almost three years now. Insulin is teh shit! Makes all the difference in the world biggrin

Sorry to hear about your weird dreams... I know they can seem so real, and haunt you in your waking hours. Not fun. Hang in there, K?

Much love! love love

At the very least the dreams could lead to some "Pavlovian negative response" reaction in real life, there has to be a silver lining somewhere.
