Saturday turned out to be a pretty great day. What was supposed to be just laundry and sit at home, ended up being shooting pool with one friend for hours, then dinner with other friends. Feels like I actually did something. Tomorrow will be a day of rest and laziness.
And now that my tattoo guy isn't traipsing across the country doing work out of other people's shops, he can finally get to work on me!! Probably next weekend. Some people apparently gotta get settled in after driving from Cali to Va.

I want spring to start NOW!! I want to sleep with the windows open. Listen to the low rumbles of thunder and the soft patter of rain hitting the ground, the flash of lightning off in the distance. SPRING, WHERE ARE YOU?!!
I'm not as old as I really am.
Sometimes, as I sit (or in this case tonight, stand) and I pan across the packed bar. I see many faces that are quite younger than me. I'm there alone, which is fine, I'm use to it now. I know people there, sure. Many of the waitresses that serve me I'm on a first name basis with, but yet again, quite younger than me. If you were to meet me without knowing my age (don't look!) you would never guess. I bet if I could get down to 200lbs or under I could pass for mid 20's easily. I'm not my age, somethings wrong, or right, who knows. People in my town that are my age are doing the white picket fence and 2.6 kids thing. You just can't meet people, or I should I say, "I" can't meet people (more specifically girls). Most of the people I hang out with are mid to late 20's. Sometimes it feels weird.

Not a fan of this "Day" ...... nothing more depressing when you're alone. ......... oh, and old in a town full of college girls. 
Zooey Deschanel on SNL is awesome! I might have to seek treatment on my fascination on Zooey I love her sooo much!! Anything she does, wears, says is perfect!!!

I like living in this small city area, big cities aren't my thing. Growing up in my hometown just 25 miles south of where I am now was great, but finding people who are into the same things as you is like a needle in a haystack. Where I live now has it's little booming "hipster" community, but that still isn't me. What an annoying bunch!! Modern Hippieism is what I call it.
I want hardcore/punk people!! People like you find on SG, but giving my "relatively conservative" location, we just can't seem to hold on to these types of people. They skip town as soon as possible. Sometimes I think I should too, but I'm like my quiet peaceful location.
Just wish there were more like me ...... living here.
