4 more work days until I start my vacation, I can't fucking wait! I'll be off for 4 weeks, I don't have any formal plans yet, except I want to go to the city and hit a couple of museums, the Met, Guggenheim and the history musuem. I've been on an art craze lately, I think maybe it's because the weather has been slow to warm up so I've been bottled up inside my apt. I picked up some cool paintings and prints this last couple of days and the price was right. Gettin my impressionist fix.

Well my stress levels are sky high right now which sucks. I'm supposed to go down to NJ for a family function, but I don't really want to, I just don't feel like dealing with people right now.

So I went to the auction tonight and got some good buys on paintings. I definitely will go back to this auction house in the future, because the amount of stuff they had there was a relatively small amount of people. I went there aiming for 3 paintings and only got one of them, but I ended up getting four others, and I was happy with the prices I paid. Two of them are really cool, one is a large oil on canvas of Venice, Italy in excellent condition, and the other is a good investment piece from the early 17th century depicting a religous genre.

I didn't eat supper because of the auction and now am pretty drunk off of two beers as a result.

Took my bike out for a ride for the first time this year, felt good. Now I have to get it cleaned and tuned up.

So I picked up a pair of watercolors on board at an auction yesterday. One was "The Duel" by I.W. Taber, unfortunately it looks like it was sitting in a warehouse some where with no protection, so it has some stains and it's dirty. Any way I wanted it so I got it, and and there was another one by the same artist there so I took that one to, actually the second one is just as good if not better and alot better condition.
