As someone with cerebral palsy all I can say is that you have to hammer on the door pretty much none stop and don't take no for an answer it might be different in scotland but the nhs is painfully slow in england . I'm 24 now and looking for a job hope things get sorted soon x

I was proactive today spoke with the deputy head of school/nursery and i am too meet with her in aug and she is going to do the referral for him then instead of waiting till jan so i am happier now. no advocates are only used when their is no legal guardian here . The deputy head was very nice and thanked me for bringing it to her attention she is going to be telling a white lie in aug as she will have to say he is already at nursery but because their is a 6 month waiting list she wants to do it early and she ill get him accessed by the school OT we are lucky that their is a special needs school attached to were rogue goes so she reassured me that they were equipped to dealing with a child who has special needs.xx
