So it has been a while since I have given my take on the movies, so here it goes......
This week I have had my own Theme week, what with the holidays coming, and everyone else excited for Christmas and New Years. Me, I am sort of okay with it all..Whatever, any way....Movies.....
I have finished watching all three films, in their Swedish subtitled coolness, based on the books written by Steig Larson. I am of course talking about "The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo", "The Girl who Played With Fire", and "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest" Staring Michael Nyqvist and Noomi Rapace. I had no Idea what these films were about, let alone that they were subtitled.
Coolness par excellence. The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo, was so awesome, A definate must see. And if you have Netflix, you can rent or stream the other two. I stream, so after the first one, I was scanning the ques and found the others..BOOYAH!!....My personal "MUST SEE" flicks for this week...
Now if you have On Demand, all three films can be seen for around $3-4 for eash of the halves of the uncut/extended version. Yes each film is in two parts, so you are going to spend like $25 to see all of them. If I hadn't bought my brother his Christmas gift, I would be doing just that.
Why just my brother, well my family is pretty big with brothers, wives, mom and dad, and all the kids, we just draw names out of a hat. Otherwise I'd be in hock every year for the holidays...I will probably opt out next year. Just depends on what frame of mind Iam in at the time.
I don't hate the holidays, I just don't care. No really I don't....If I were dating, or married...then things would be different. As it is, I just moved to a new city, started a new job, and have to attend some classes in Oklahoma in March. So the apartment that I am currently renting will no longer be mine. In Fact, I have no Idea where I will be living when I am doing all of this travelling and schooling.
I'm sure things will work themselves out, If I can only make it to March. The idea of not having to pay rent for almost 6 - 7 months sounds pretty cool, except for the month long breaks between classes...When I will be homeless, or living in a hotel or crashing on a couch....Fuck it!! I'll just roll with it.
So.....GO WATCH SOME MOVIES!!!!!!!!!!

Hi! I really enjoyed those movies too...trying to decide how I feel about the new version of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo that just came out...hmmm....
Even though you don't care about the holiday - I hope you enjoy it, anyway!
