For once since I got to this sandy resort we call deployment, I have managed to overbook my self. I know. It sounds crazy, sort of like me sometimes.
I had to leave work at 0200 to make a Skype call back home to say my good byes to a dying relative. Not immediate family, so don't ask, I cannot go home. that's that. She was sleeping, so I said I will try in about 4 hours when I am actually off shift, hopefully she will be awake.
Now at 0425 I was supposed to be at the ANZAC day celebration with the Australians stationed here, followed by a BBQ. Plus I have an appointment at 0630. Crap, I hate this whole time zone junk. I have no Idea what Fing day it is, let alone what time it is back home, unless I can look at my laptop which has local time and Vancouver time.
Oh well, I will do my best to be everywhere at once......If I was a super hero right now, I'd be Multiple Man (marvel, look him up) The Flash or another speedster won't be any help.
It all really just sucks all around.....(not a ploy for sympathy, just venting in general)
