Work's been slow and getting slower. I guess if I'm going to be bored I can at least get paid (marginally) for it. One positive is I'm getting paid to study and do my homework most days.
Taking two classes at the University of Iowa, Calculus and Clinical Psychology. Both seem to be going well at this early date (approx 2 weeks in)
Had to miss one of my psych classes already because of the weather-Global Warming apparently isn't.
It's late and the Weather-lady claims we're in for a foot of snow sometime over the next 12-24 hours, I'm personally hoping against it, dealing with people's driving in inclimate weather is no fun.
I did post new pics but they're way too big to be profile pics so maybe while I'm at work or school tomorrow I'll resize them, or (more likely) I'll put it off for another month or two, lose another 10lbs, and start the whole process over again.
Time to see if I can sleep tonight

I didnt realize how difficult it was to look menacing while trying not to laugh.
Some redneck decided that i was following his big red truck way too close in my little blue car. so he jumped a curb and decided to try to follow me to work. I didnt think he was going to give me an award for saving small animals with my magical powers even though he told me i was #1 with his hand, so i pulled over way before i got to work and let him chase up on me-he almost hit me, but i wasnt really awake nor did i want to go to work so i didint bother flinching.
He swore at me, called me a faggot and a fairey, and then worst of all said i drove like S#@t. I commented on his driving and the fact that his parents were probably related before the wedding then told him to scurry on his little redneck way. he did. One of those benefits for me of being tall-i can pull the intimidation card.
As he drove away he decided to show me his IQ was only 2 with both hands-taking both hands off his steering wheel to do so-and since he was on the gas his truck swerved and hit the curb again. I gave him my best "Buh-bye baby" wave and effiminately got in my car just to screw up his world view and drove to work laughing.
moral of the story...
they really shouldnt give me a place to talk about whatever i want...;D
