Four day's off as of 6 o'clock tonight. Going up to visit my buddy who just moved back homme in les Laurentides for a bit to relax, or not... that is the question.. Can't wait to be in the hills!
So la St-jean Baptiste was lots of fun but nothing special really... me and my buddy spent most of the night waiting in the mall parking lot (across from the festivities) for our friends to arrive and ran in to a bunch of other friends and ended up just drinking in the parking lot all night... we went for a stroll on site but it was like a stitches convention for 16 year olds... Then we party hopped and found nothing more interesting that heading back to my apartment and stimulate our minds with wacky ghost videos on you tube... very nice!
I got two nice new additions to my body a few days ago... and the main reason for doing this right away was to fill in a dot that he missed on my chest piece without having to set up everything for that one dot, and guess what... we forgot the dot! this dot:

(*)I am now officialy a practitioner of Reiki.. I got my initiation, oh yeah! If you don't know what Reiki is this is rely a basic explanation
(*) Aggainst the stream is helping me beat the shit out of the mind... Noah just knows exacly how to say it with no suggar coat. Cant wait to get Brad Warner's new book as well.

a couple of nights ago we decide we want to go have a barbecue and seing that the local beach is a three and a half minute walk from my door step I thought it would not be too much truble... well now.. I was wrong.
Me and my buddy had gone downtown Ottawa to relax a bit and bought his chicken... we then stoped at his place to pick up some vedgies and prep suplies, then head back to my place.
The first unfortunate event : he forgot his chicken at home... so this wouldn't be so bad if it was 1 or two in the afternoon but it is now 3:30 and we were already runing late seing we had to prep our food and walk down for 4...(I know, who eats at 4 anyways... I have a weird temperd freind who aranged this)
So he heads back and I decide I'm going to wash some dishes... and after about six cups and a couple of utensils I realise that...
unfortunate event two: I sliced my hand in two spots, right on the nuckles. (but i'm ok... got me out of the dishes but it wasn't realy my turn anyway)
so my budy get's back, it's now 4:30, so, we call to find out that no one is actualy there yet or even near getting there so we start our prep while we wait for my room mate and all of a sudden
unfortunate event three: It starts to poor down rain. By now I'm starting to think this is a real bad idea... somtething is elling us to just forget this idea... and so did most of the peeple whe where going with cuz they called and canceled.
So my room mate (weird tempered freind) arrives pissed off cuz the bridge on one side of our island (a little island that doesn't even pull a kilometer that we live on and only one main road goes thru) was closed because of rush hour and she had to go all the way around (wich takes abour 30 minutes, 45 w trafic) to get home. (we have to deal with this for 9 month's... but it is only closed in one direction during rush hour for construction)
So we are all a little dissapointed about the rain when finaly at around 5:30 the sun pops out and it is beutifull.
Now we need to find chacoal.. three stores (thank god she has a car) later we get to the site
unfortunate event four :THEY BOUGHT THE WRONG ONES. they got lava rocks. 10 points for them!
(wow this is a longer story than I thought)
Afamily arives and we see they have three bags of the right ones so we kindly ask for a bag wich they sell to us and we get prepared... I'm convinced we need something specific to start and my roommate says ''no no... we just have to light them'' I figure this would be interesting to see:
The nice dude who sold us the bag comes up to us and ask's
unfortunate event number five : Any of you have fluid to start up the brick's....
It told you so rolls in my mind and Iritation is starting to set in but at least we have a little bottle of whine and some nice sceenery. He decides he would go find somefor us so we wait and take some pictures.

and doesn't return for an hour and a half. Now it is 8 o'clock. 4 hours past original meet time and the barbecue might just start this time.

So Ragg decides to be nice enough to go get some and as he steps up... the bbq goes out ''fuck it, im going to get my f@%&ing propane bbq'' he says.
so while they leave we get it going aggain, cook our food and they get back just in time with the paltes.
after we go to DQ (huray for me I don't eat dairy.. at least they have these weird smoothie type things) for desert and me and chicken boy went to the bar to watch Babel (moovie night) and see other freinds.
That was our amazing bbq adventure.

im prety fucking happy... we are going to start working on my right arm in a few weeks from now My tattoo artist also took up a bunch of my jewlery to sel in his shop wich I am pretty psyched about as well. Tuesday I'm going to go drop some more stuff off... these are a few of the pieces I left with him out of the fork line

I went to a show in Montreal the other night; former signer song writer of mellincolin, Nikola Sarcevic was what this was about.
I've been tripping pretty bad on acoustic music these days so my buddy invited me to see Nikola and I'm adicted. The show was Intimate, approx 125 people in a little bar on St-Laurent, but his music is awesome.
Obviously I finaly got my hands on a new camera and i'm having a ball with it. I need something with alot more kick but this one is just ment for cataloging stuff on my website (that will be launching by september or october.. more on this l8er but if there are any artist's who are interested in selling there stuff or promote their music thru a co-op of artists gime a shout)
so that will be that.. I am royaly exhausted rigth now so I think i'm going to go sleep... I've been goin out a bit too much

so this has been a month of ups and downs but I think the roler coster ride is about to come to it's end. I've been stuck (maner of peaking) in my appartement for a week, between my shift's at the store, comming up with a business plan for my project that might just happen to see the light of day (more on that another day). I've been getting alot of feed back from interested artist's wanting in on the idea (and if you are an artist wanting to put your stuff out there just a tad bit further, you might be intrested
) but that's enough talk about this for now...
Going to see a show tomorow night... apparently the lead signer for melincollin has been doing a solo project for a while now that's pretty smoth so I'm going to check that out. Went and saw the St-Catherines last week in Montreal wich was a nice break away from my workshop that I had spent all freaking day in.. and Gogol Bordelo coming to Blues fest in Ottawa on friday jully 13th... oh yeah! gona be nice! If you've never heard of them, check em out, it's pretty crazy!

Shit still ain't so peachy in my part of the world... everyone around me seems to be going thru some unnecessary crap right now (which I am way over my head in for that mater) that just wont give. Just bloody wonderful! I feel like packing up my pack and hitching somewhere for a week... thinking of maybe Toronto or Quebec city... Montreal is no longer an escape.. :S I think it'll be an idea for mid June.
On the upside, I'm going to get my first piece done tomorrow across my chest. I can barely wait it's insane! I'll post a pick tomorrow after it's done. I've been waiting two years because of other projects on hand but it's finally going to happen. Totally psyched!

Broke, hungry and tired... can't wait till next week for a day off and my check's to come in. It doesn't happen too often that I go broke but with all the connecting fee's in the apartments: gas, hydro, phone, internet plus rent one one paycheck, I'm kind of dry now.
On another note, I can't wait till next Tuesday... going to do a Reiki treatment. I've been needing one real bad lately and I can hardly wait. I have so much tension in my neck, shoulders and back I'ts just not funny. I feel like a sheet of plywood on two legs.
Pour les quebecois, I'm designing t-shirt's for la St-Jean batiste, they'll be going for around 15$ to 20$... they are going to be awesome.. I will be posting them once I get my hands on a camera!
