So, I find myself looking for work again, and well, I can't help but compare how looking for work online is a lot like meeting women online, something I am very familiar with.
You begin by posting your information in some website, then, of course you don't get any unsolicited offers, or the ones that you do never get past the original message, so you have to get out there and try to make the first contact yourself.
That's when you begin posting to the prospects that interest you, and then most never get back to you, eventually, you do get to arrange meeting which could be either awkward or a hit... either way, chances are you won't be getting a call, not even to tell you that the position has been filled by someone else, and that is when the process starts all over.
I got selected for a US green card, so I might move north, if you know of any Game Programming jobs that would take me, let me know.

So I am back, I left for about a week, but I think the prospect of a new Clio set is just too enticing, plus this is not really THAT expensive

I am moving, slowly but surely, I can't live without the internet, plus I lack ownership of a number of appliances that make life easier, so I decided not to move until the very basics have been installed in my future abode.
I also have no curtains, and I like to keep my life rather private... I am getting those on tuesday, yes I would use bedsheets in the meantime, but I lack those as well.

I am hunting for an apartment, got to move, I guess its serious this time, I even have an appointment to go see an apartment tomorrow morning.
