So I will show my age and tell you my 20th high school reunion is this coming weekend. It should be a lot of fun. The plan is Friday homecoming football game, I still have my letter jacket and am praying for COLD weather! Then Saturday we have a picnic at the school and a tour of restorations. Finally we have our dress up party Saturday night. They are planning some class mate entertainment, and some catching up time.
I have the best red dress to wear and I am SO READY to see my former class mates!
I loved high school and have wonderful memories of it.
I will let ya know how it goes!
UPDATE:
I had a BLAST at the reunion... such a fun and busy weekend!! I want to tell you all about it, but having exerted myself so much, I let my immune system get down, and now I am home sick!
When I get better I will tell you all about it.... my highlight, besides showing of not_tom, was getting an award for most piercings!!

Had a blast with my mom, Asheville is one beautiful place. We shopped and found a beautiful red cocktail dress for my high school reunion coming up in early October. We also found some skirts for when I have to go back to work.... soon I am afraid! We also got to spend most of the day at the Biltmore House. They have opened up more floors for the public than the last time I saw it. But I recommend you come see it when it is not a record breaking 96 outside. The Biltmore House has a lot of firsts.... but air conditioning is NOT one of them!
The next day was spent buying chocolate, books and finally from the stress of it all.... we spent 4 hours getting completely spoiled at the spa. We had an intense facial, using facial products made with fruit extracts, a salt glow where a VERY HOT woman rubbed me down with warm water and oil only to be added with very big salt crystals and rubbed into almost every inch of my body. Then I had the same HOT WOMAN give me an hour full body massage. It was all I could do not to touch back, or moan!!
We also ate like queens, all over Asheville. I was one relaxed, and stuffed girl!!

I am off to go hang with my mom in Asheville for four days three nights of chill time. We are having a spa day, a Biltmore house day, and some shopping and good eating time too!!
This will be good bonding time with my mom, I am looking forward to it.
The boy got braces yesterday!! He is sore, but very cute with them. He is adjusting nicely and is learning to live with them.

Well I think Summer would not be Summer if drama did not happen!!
Our boy had a bad accident on his skate board. He and his friend were skateboarding at the next road over from ours when I get a knock on the door. It is his friend telling me M was hurt. So we loaded up the car and went to get him. He was so bloody I had to clean up the blood to find the places cut. one was obvious his chin. It was so mangled, I was worried about the end result... So I called the man, and he came home took one look and said, "yep that is going to need stitches." sure enough because when all said and done he got three stitches. He is very banged up with road rash on his elbow, leg, fingers, and forehead. We were glad he at least had on his helmet, but he was VERY BANGED UP. For days now he has been moving like an old man, and yesterday was the only day we did not cut our activites short so he could come home and rest.
His friend was very brave, and we made sure to point out to him what a good calm friend he was to M. He had M take off his sock and place pressure on his chin, he helped him walk as far as he could and then ran to come get me. When we got back home, he was the runner for the bandages, clean shirt, and wash cloth and towel. What a trooper!!
So other than that.... the boy also found out he is getting braces on Aug. 1st!! I am like WHAT!!! We were going for a laid back summer.. so much for those odds!
In other news, life for me and the man are really good. M is on the mend, and we have a SGNC cookout coming up here. I hope the new girl can come. I would like my pals to meet her. She is way cool.

All of the election signs around town are overwhelming. They put opposing candidate's signs beside each other, and on every single corner in town. You see the same names over and over again, and I suppose that is the goal. However, they do not tell you anything about the candidate, just their name and what if you are lucky they are running for. Here in Chapel Hill there is a man ( I assume) running for State Treasurer. Now I say I assume because it is only the last name in all capital letters blaring at you. This name is what makes me laugh. For there in black and white is the name WEISEL and the person wants to be trusted to handle the states money? Come on, any moron would think twice before voting for a weasel to handle their money. We have ALWAYS been told never to trust a weasel! There is one more sign I want to point out... their is a Home Tax on the ballet this year, and of course two sides who think their side is correct. But the opposition has a sign that reads Vote no to the Home Tax and that I get, but then they have their web address below and this site is ITISABADIDEA.com... now come on, what if you are at home and have forgotten what the site is, but know you want to read why they don't want the home tax to pass. Are we really going to think ITS A BAD IDEA... I don't think I would remember that one. That is of course if I did not HAVE to read about 5000 of them every single day. Come on May 6th. I am tired of all the signs!!
