sounds like a nice way to spend the flu.. last time i had it i was too busy with a wedding cake final at school to be sick...i remember sitting at the kitchen counter at home working on gum paste flowers bundled up in like..3 sweaters and shivering like mad.. i still dont know how i got anything done..

Oh, I hate wedding cakes. Refuse to make them. Kinky cakes or nothing. My last actual pastry cake was of a combat boot being inserted in an ass. Picture to follow. Thanks for the kind words, Hexxus!

(it was all edible... The boot was rice crispy treats and fondant, the ass was yellow butter cake with bavarian creme filling and cream cheese icing.)

I hate being sick. I think it's been a while since I had the flu. So glad for that. I hope you feel better soon!

I've never worked with fondant. I decorated cakes for about a year, but only with icing. It was fun, but hard on my hands. I did like it, though.

What an awesome cake (the one with combat boot) and sounds delicious too! I'll have to keep kinkycake in mind next time I throw a party. Hope you recovered from the flu!
