Well I did end up having a date last weekend.. That ended in a way that I wasn't expecting..... I guess you could say it was 'fun' but not really the situation I wanted to get in with the person it was with.. Now I have some 'splaining' to do... But, honesty is the best policy right?
My semester still isn't over yet.. sigh.. A stack of grading still, and two exams to give (and grade) on Wednesday.. I need a BREAK! Then I get my wisdom teeth pulled on the 29th.. All four of 'em at once.. I think I'll be having a percocet NYE this year.. I hope!
I've got big plans for break on top of all that..I've got two papers that need to be submitted, planning for the spring semester, and I'm heading down to D.C. for a couple days. Gonna hit up the collections at the Smithsonian to see some fossil box turtles.. And I somehow managed to get a free place to crash.. With my ex gf from like 8 years ago... We are trying to reconnect and be friends, but with us both being single.... Not really sure what's going to happen.. I can see us having a good time as friends... I could see things not so well/awkwardly and me leaving a day early, or on the longest shot of them all, something happening.. But if I was a betting man, I'd go with scenario one.. I know I'll be on my best behavior... Well that's a long rambling update that no one will likely read, since I don't have much presence on here!
