What a day! So I had a student come to my office who is failing.. Today was the last day to withdraw from the class. First she tried to talk me into letting her retake the exam, but not tell anyone else.. Hmmm unethical, nope. Then she tried to insinuate that I graded her work more difficult than other students after reading someone else's work that happened to be siting on my desk...hmm, unethical, nope. Then she wanted to me curve the exams for the students that didn't do well, but leave those students who did well out of the curve... hmmm, unethical, nope. Finally she told me I was a bad teacher and that I was going to get fired... Okay, this conversation is over, get out of my office... Yeah, that was my day... So now I am prepping a lecture I will get evaluated on by two faculty members tomorrow.. Hooray me!

In other news, I tried joining a dating website. Since I've been single for about a month now and actually physically 'alone' since August... But I don't really have much time to get out so I thought it might help meet people... Not so much... The people contacting me are definitely not my type AT ALL. And the very few that seem like my type don't respond.... I think SG needs a dating section or something.. I guess technically the whole site is kinda that, and people are spread out all over the place.. But it seems like the people I meet on here are my type.. And I rarely meet folks like that in person here in Jersey :/ Oh well, enough bitchin
