What are you guys doing for Christmas this year? This year, the retail Gods are punishing me. I'm closing Christmas Eve, and opening the 26th- at 5 am (insert horribly sad face here). Luckily, they can't make me work on Christmas!
My boyfriend and I plan on making something delicious in our crockpot, and doing something we can't do on Christmas on the East Coast- we're thinking of driving to the beach and having a picnic or just a hike. Something California-ish, that we couldn't do if we were back home in Connecticut. (Though I distinctly remember 3 years ago we took a walk down to the lake in our town, there was still mushy snow and stuff around though).
I'm not one for Christmas traditions, though. @rambo asked us to write about our traditions. I'd say the only things my family ever did regularly was drive up to Vermont (often through snowstorms, not my favorite), chop down a tree at the very last minute, decorate with all our ridiculous ornaments (including our Poi people we got when we lived in Hawaii), and EAT. Oh the food is always the best part of a holiday.
I hope you guys all have a delightful holiday. I'll be around, answering emails and help requests the next couple of days. And if you live in the colder places of our country, stay warm!
