A good weekend.. spent time with my 8 year old princess, went to a couple movies.. worked out. did laundry.. ready for work tomorrow oddly enough.

Her laptop is fixed and she's a happy 8 year old. Christmas shopping is all done, now I just need to wrap the gift for my ex-wife from my daughter and we should be all set.

Where are all the Virginia ladies?

Doesn't it figure I brag about how she has been really good with her electronics and she leaves her laptop on the floor, and a friend steps on it.... SIGH..

at least it's only the screen that's busted and 55 bucks later I should be able to replace it. Cross your fingers

busy weekend... this is my day for the weekend.. tomorrow I get the princess, and then try and surprise her since Sunday is her birthday. 8 years old. Man. Crazy how fast time goes by. She wanted an MP3 player so Ipod Touch it is. I would be hesitant but she takes good care of her stuff. She's had a Gameboy DSI XL for two years still works great... Laptop for Christmas last year.. no problems. SO I feel better about it. Plus she's a great student, doesn't cause problems for her mom or I.. I think she deserves it.

october came and went... and it seems like just yesterday it began. A week into november.. wow.
Make sure you thank a veteran we all know at least one.

Man today's gonna be a fairly busy day..
Hair cut.. then an oil change for the truck, but.. my check engine light came on at 50K miles.
Pretty sure it's just for 50K miles service.. although you never know. Seems to be running normal though.
My roommate wants me to help move a chest freezer for his mom.. (I have a truck.. joy)
Then I'm thinking I'm going to go see Paranorman with the munchkin.

After being seperated for 3 years and divorced for 2 1/2 years.. I think I'm ready to have someone in my life again.
