easter was ok. got 2 easter eggs. a nice posh one from my godchild and one from my mother. so sweet.
i spent the weekend in galway. in a nice hotel. ate out sat & sun. love galway. boozed and met old friends. forgot my phone, so was outa contact with everyone for 4 days. had to use carrier pigeons and smoke signals to reach everyone. luckily i remember sequences of numbers or i was well and truly fucked.
i didn't realise how important a phone is until now. so i got home yesterday evening and watched this movie.


which is too sarcastic for words.
so i have more tests on friday coming. so should know what the story is next week. i wonder what life would be like without booze. clearer maybe?

got my test results back.
i have a slightly higher level of cholestorol than normal, by a half point. so im going back training and changing my diet. they are also doing some more tests in regards to my iron levels and liver function. yep guinness is definetly good for ya!!
so if it comes back high next time out i have hemochromatosis. which is a bitch. no more iron-ey foods or booze. le sigh.

i'm drunk in work. i arrived 5 minutes ago. and my head hurts. so much for taking it easy last night. let st.patricks weekend begin.






oh its gonna be a great weekend.

irish sg meeting last saturday. i think we had a good time! i know i did. . met some wonderful interesting people, had great conversation, and had good food.
as i'm an old fella it took me some time to recover. but i ended up only getting a few hours kip. i was driving this for the weekend.

so nowt else to tell. st patricks day is coming up this weekend. so we get monday off. yippee.
oh yeah, i have to get blood tests tomorrow. .

i've been sick. got a throat and ear infection. on some real ball breaking anti-biotics. i slept for a day solid. came back to work today. and the place is in shit. soi guess i'll be back to normal next monday/tuesday. will be able to chat then.
i got my food swap food from vivienne. i want to thank her very much.

i miss my dad.
and this is why.

he would have had this up in a half an hour. it took me over 2 hours to put a bracket arm and tv up on the wall.
it made me miss him a lot last night. thinking about being a gimp at d.i.y. which meant little or no sleep. its 5 years since he passed away.
i guess its meant to be easy.

dentists i hate going, but its a neccesity. all those years smoking did some damage which has only started to repair in the last year. so i guess i get to keep a full set of gnashers. so i had the appointment at 8.30 this morning. i still have an ache in my gumline afte the probing and cleaning. shudder. i'm never a wuss when im getting it done 'cos i like being macho in front of the dentist and her assistant (both female). such an ass . its a man thing ladies! hee hee. so here i am in work with a nice shiny smile. now where's the chocolate at?

so went to howth on a date yesterday. big mistake. ita a small fishing village, on a penninsula in dublin, one way in, one way out. it took an hour and 15 minutes to get too. we laughed about it, ha ha. then we went on a walk around the harbour. got some ice cream cones and had a wander around the market. everything was going good up too when we went to leave. the traffic was chaotic. we were stuck trying to get outa the place for a full hour, then traffic heading home took another 40 minutes. by the end of the date she was giving mono-syllabic answers to any question put to her.
if i get a next time, i will have to plan a better date.

as an aside, i could have gone to podge and rodge tv show and been in the audience yesterday (callum best and fiona looney were the guests) . but i didn't.

ah well. start the week afresh.
