I love the fourth of july. The ritual searing meat over high heat, the drinking, the fireworks. My poor dog, not so much. Fireworks cause her to hide under tables and chairs and shiver so hard in fear that it is a small wonder that the things on said tables and chairs don't fall off. She even crawled in my lap tonight.



While tonight is the worst episode, what with the town blowing things up and all. The thing that gets me the most is the assholes who've been lighting them off for the last week. And who will continue for the next month. I sort of wish they would feel just a little for the fear she does each time they light them off.
