i had 10B1 today again for science..i will spare you the details but will tell you that it was hell. I was completely un-needed as the teacher had to spend 90% of the lesson dictating from the board while they yelled and jumped around and then got kicked out the class.
I had to sit at the back waiting for silent question answering time which never happened really.
God! i hate the feeling that you have no chance of getting through to these kids who think that school is a place to muck around and that it does not matter... well until they are educationally void and end up working at a fast food joint !!
but i keep my chin up and remember i do have classes which listen and today i even got through to other kids in french...once again i had Ryan who actually wrote some more and managed to understand the present tense rule.Once he had got the rule and i felt he was getting somewhere ,he managed to get himself kicked out of class for throwing a rubber across the room!! and then Bess got kicked out for shouting across the room which made Perrie want to get kicked out as well because she thought Bess would be lonely...of course you can see what made me upset.
I tried to explain that there was no reason for her to do that but logic doesnt always appear on teenage girls radars when it comes to keeping a friend and making sure they are liked by their peers.
If only they knew what the future holds.............

ok, so french wasnt so bad...they had masculine and feminine endings which frankly was too easy for them i think, sometimes i think that teachers see a low ability class but dont see the potential that some will want to reach higher (just occasionally) and today i saw a boy who has been kicked out of school a million times ,yet me walked into the class, sat with me and actually completed all the tasks without too much moaning and all i did was explain that i didnt know french and i would be learning with him and he actually liked that.
He listened to me and actually showed he did know french despite his history of being kicked out of class.

Maths too was a success, they listened and i needed to push them along occasionally but they got it, and they even told another teaching assistant that they liked me and enjoyed me helping them. HURRAH!!
i couldnt stop smiling and i finally think i might have got to a point where i can help and i am not worried about them not liking me.They respect people who will help them without looking down at them because they have special learning needs and perhaps end up getting disruptive when they are stuck.

Oh! and i ended up showing a year 7 where the canteen was and without realising lead them the wrong way- damn one way systems, and hey i got lost coz ive only been there a few days....maps!!! i hate you!!! lol

So my new term has started as a teaching assistant/ trainee teacher.
I started on wednesday and shadowed for two days til friday morning when i was set off on my own.
I started with triple English which rocked as that is my speciality but obviously i am new so i had to be on a quest to learn all their names...i had year 8s (age 12-13) who were doing creative writing , and completely lacked imagination so i tried hard to get them interested in writing something original rather than a repeat of a film they had seen, this was harder than i thought.
They cling to what they have seen and feel afraid of trying something that people might mock or really dislike.I guess people dont change too much as they get older, do they?.

I have had to spend my weekend doing homework on my new classes for next week, like French with year 11(age 16).I have never studied French so i have had to look up from the beginning and pray that it will come together and i wont be totally lost in translation.
I have to try and learn it, and if the class is too hard to bluff then i can swop, although frankly no-one is going to want to swop French for something that i enjoy like History, Art or Drama.

Religious Studies was more interesting than i thought it was going to be too,i had year 9s (age 13-14) who enjoyed thinking up ways that the world would end.Frankly imagination was not short in that class, and i ended up being very scared at how these kids will rule my world one day, but hey if you do see a huge giant stomping across the America let me know and i can find the culprit in my group.hahaha

officially i will be a trainee English teacher at one of my local secondary schools in September. How scary is that!?
i am only 22 and i am soon going to be an example to teenagers who are at school because they cant legally leave, that is a worrying thought.I think being a role model is a tough thing and im wondering what lessons are the most important to learn at that age?
For me learning that school never really ends is something i wish i knew back then because i left thinking that after 16 people changed and suddenly i wouldnt get called weird and that i would find a 'right' skin but i didnt and people still worry about who looks the best and whos having sex with who.
I also didnt learn at school that not all boys will stay childish but most will. They pretend to be men but many just hide it well and the best thing to do is filter carefully and dont put your heart out on a platter.

if anyone has any other words of wisdom or advice please comment and hopefully i wont be a completely hopeless teacher.

The best things about London and why i love living here.

* camden- it has to be said and well what more can i say.The place is like heaven ,alittle burnt now but a mecca for all that is beautiful and different
*brick lane- perfect for retro and vintage -found many treasures there have i
*covent garden- good food, great buskers and all round good shopping
*spitalfield market- antiques,clothes,food- you name it ,you can get it!

*tower of london
*tate gallery (modern and original)
*national portrait gallery
*imperial war musuem
*the palace (naturally)
*madam tussards
*the planeterium
*the science musuem

I love that just 40 mins from my doorstep is a place where history meets the future and nearly every country in the world has connections to our little island and the people who once has power over the world.
We are a little country but once we controlled India,Australia,America..well you know where im going with this.
Best things about the UK:
*Ireland -with its dancing and drinking, fields and churches
*Scotland- with its loch ness monster, more drinking, kilts and more dancing, its mountains and snow
*Wales- with its lakes and leeks, lol and of course more dancing and drinking
*England- for London, the coasts and its posh universities, erm and well pretty much being richer than the rest of the UK,lol....but also more stupid i fear ,as we tend to have more people, less green and more traffic and pollution.
Well theres my tribute to my home and all the things i think make England not so bad. blush
heres a picture of me at bingo for good measure! kiss (yes i know bingo!- i apologise)zoom image

So i think i should introduce myself and perhaps say abit about myself.I have been visiting SG for about two years now but this is the first time i have ever joined and actually been a member. The reason i decided to join is that i found Quinne and realised she is the hottest woman i have ever seen.
I am purely in awe of her and how beautiful she is and now i am on the lookout to find the other suicidegirls who catch my eye.
I adore beauty, true beauty which u can see when u look at their eyes and i am lame enough to believe that true beauty is rare and should be apperciated. In a world where people can buy a new body and create a new image, the true beauties should be seen and their body art just makes them even more original and rare.
Now i have dribbled for a few lines i will finish and hopefully will add some of my own pictures soon.I am not as beautiful as these are but hopefully one day i'll have the ability to put myself out there and see. blush
