well im ready to be done with iraq. this place is a huge waste of soldiers time...and lives.
short of that i find myself resenting the iraqis more and more. i flew over all ove baghdad today and its just such a shithole. most people have no plumbing, so in addition to the fact the city looks like its built on a dump, it reaks of shit and sewage. Then theres no mission here anymore, the iraqi army wont let us do anything and dont really want us here...whats keeping us from leaving? I'll have to refer to COL Reese and thats about everyones opinion here.

So today i was walking along with a friend and we were remarking how cool it was today, when we got to the thermometer outside of Division it said it was 118.....now what the fuck? This place must be getting to me.
I've officially been in country for a month now. i'm slowly picking up my job and looking forward to the challenges its going to bring. It sucks being away from the wife, but we're both getting along well and not having any long distance issues. She's very supportive.

Iraq is still hot. its been hotter than hell lately, not figuratively, literally. Scientists have shown that the hottest i could ever be in hell is 117.4 degrees, its that by 10 am here. So really, im not scared.
Its not bad here yet. i finally get to start my job again tomorrow after being in class for the last week. i get to start training people, which is totally sweet. Porn is still in short supply, but i keep running out of lube! WTF Trebek!?!
Ive been speaking with candace from candylust.org alot of the last week trying to get a pinup photoshoot done for the guys here. So far things are going extremely well! she's had 5 girls sign on to do a shoot in a week and will have the prints out soon there after. Its going to be pretty fucking awesome!

Got a call today that started like this: "Hey lieutenant Borne, this is Maj._____. Hope you've been enjoying your leave but i got some news, we're deploying on Friday now." Talk about a buzzkill...no one wants to deploy the before 4th of july.

well i am here in montana again. Took about 10 hours of driving from washington, then 6 hours the day after to get to miles city to visit the grand folks, 6 hours back the next day, and now im just visiting all my friends. I guess i never really knew how many friends i had until i had to cram visiting all of them into a 1 week experience, while saving time for the family.
Montana is still beautiful, so far the liberals havent infected it yet. Makes me really wish that i could move back and find a lucrative career, leave the army, and stay here. But c'est la vie.

well today is the day....i am getting married at 3 pm in Wright Park. Its just the justice of the peace wedding before i leave out for Iraq, but its definitely happening! Not so much scared or anxious, just excited!
We got a room at The Westin in seattle tonight for a small honeymoon thing. I'll try and post some pictures in the following days.

I havent been on here in too long. The Fiance doesnt really like me being on websites with sexier girls than her. I can't blame her honestly...this place tickles my happy bone.
Speaking of her, the entire world of her is coming to this house tonight. Its like 20 people, i guess thats what happens when you graduate College. She also gets her commission, that'll be a blast. But ya, spent the whole day cleaning and im pretty much done with the whole occasion.

i missed the Exodus concert last night because i waited for my hot date to get off work...now i am sad. All i know is theres nothing that can get in the way of Testament and Unearth saturday...pending the 2nd coming.
Well i have escaped the clutches of oklahoma and im back home now...thank God. I missed the dogs, the house, my unit, but most importantly, the fiance. Yeah thats right...i said fiance. She's got a .79 crt ring that says she's mine...what better way eh? But yeah, no date. Just kicking it for now.
