The more music i listen to, the more i realize that i need a 5 string bass. But that'll have to wait until i get home...theres no way i can carry 2 guitars home from iraq!
One thing that i really like about being in Iraq is that it gives me tons of time to work out. My gut is still stubborn as hell, ive got the "4 pack" down but those damn lower abs are a bitch! Beyond that, im getting everything pretty well.
So befriended this navy LT from another department. Her and i had been running together and catching breakfast, but all that came to a screeching halt a few days ago. on wednesday she took me to a cigar night her office has. Evidently one of the guys i work with was there and saw us together, and assumed that her and i were obviously fucking. So then the next day at work i get told that basically i can't hang out with her anymore because "perception is reality" and to boot they gave me 4 extra hours on my shift. Thats one of the things i hate about the military, they can dictate your friends.
