Now, off to make enough money to go to therapy and a gym.
Tomorrow is a holiday here to celebrate the birthday of Benito Juarez, the man who brought the separation of church and state to Mexico. It also brought the separation between me and having to wake-up at 6:30 in the morning tomorrow. Thanks, Benito!
On a serious note, after seeing what is going on in my home country of the United States right now, I am very glad to not be living there anymore. Misogyny is the new black.

So, besides working and working I have been drawing more.
This one is a modern version of traditional tattoo for the lovely Bruise:

Check out her set!

It is currently up for member review! My husband cudnovati was the very talented photographer.
I also drew a dove with an olive leaf, per request, for one of my best friends, Kami. She had the tattoo done last week:

And in the mood for drawing I decided to draw myself as a traditional tattoo:

“I paint myself because I am so often alone and because I am the subject I know best.” - Frida Kahlo
I had to add a gratuitous photo of my babies. We have fourteen mice, nine males and five females. These are the eight boys (papa mouse has a separate cage being that he is a bit of an asshole and doesn't get along with anyone):

I promise they were only in the bucket for fifteen minutes while I cleaned their cage.
Aren't they so sweet!?
I have decided that I want to go back to school for my master's degree. Originally I had decided to go for neuro psych but I recently changed my mind to study linguistics. I'm completely fascinated by human language.
Speaking of linguistics, I love this man.

Professor John McWhorter is an American linguist. He is brilliant and I am addicted to his videos on Human Language.
So, on a more shallow note...(my best friend tells me that I do not have a shallow side and I'm not sure if that's fucking awesome or depressing):
I want this as a poster:

Random funny shit:

I have been considering having a tattoo done from The Giving Tree but I am not sure because every time I think of the story I think of that little ungrateful bastard 'Boy.' Also because it makes me want to cry every time I read it.

I do have my mind set on a tattoo of one of those beautiful sketches of one of those 19th century illustrations of a plant.

Either the olive or the coffee plant.
My husband and I recently went to Templo Mayor in Downtown Mexico City. It is an Aztec ruin and I can't believe we had never gone before. We live about twenty minutes from the site! We have no excuse!

I did almost punch the door man to the temple but my husband didn't let that happen. I won't get into it because it will just piss me off again.
I was recently commissioned to take photographs of a beautiful quinceanera and while I was there I took advantage and photographed a beautiful macaw that the family owns:

I stole a feather from the bottom of the cage. I love birds. Even perverted ones.

So, how is everyone?
