On the road again!!!

Well.....got my dad off to the airport without any problems. I was out riding and got a voice mail on my phone saying "Jeff it's your father. Have a nice weekend." and then he was asking his "friend" if that was enough of a message and then hung up. I guess he was busy, because he turned his phone off!!! Hope she doesn't kill him with pleasure!!!

I go back to work in about 9 hours...... seems like forever!!! I hope I can still do my job? Good thing I am going back because my bank keeps telling me I need to!!!

I finally got to do some riding today!!! My Doctor released me and I couldn't help myself.......like a crack addict; I had to hit it (the road not the pipe)!!! Damn it felt good!!! I was on the tour bike as my bike is still in the shop. I haven't had time to check out the clutch yet.......as you all know I was laid up for a few weeks!!! maybe tomorrow I am exhausted and need to get some sleep!!! Now if my sex drive, and stuff get back to working properly.........I will be happy!!!

While my last blog was about a great movie.........I thought I would recommend another one. This movie is not as well know, but it is still a great story about life, family, and it also has a love story in it (although it is in the third person). The movie is Secondhand Lions!!!

Wonderful story, great cast, and a little imagination. It might start off alittle slow, but soon you will get caught up and want to know what happens next.........I promise!!!

Got some good news........I went to the Doctor today. Well let me first state that I went to see the surgeon; I had a follow up appointment today. I get to the office and the receptionist tells me there is no one there and that Dr. Lambert is in Peru! He was on some sort on mission.....guess he couldn't remember that? I wasn't too happy with that, and showed her the appointment form that was given to me in the hospital. She told me to come back Friday and one of the Nurses will see me. I told her "no thanks" I need to see a doctor, so I will go see my doctor.
I went to my Doctor office and they got me in after lunch. My doctor was happy with my recovery and checked my wound. He put some Hydrogen Peroxide on it and it didn't bubble up very much. He said that was a good sign. It means there is no major infection left!!! He also said my wound should heal up in a few days......maybe a week!!!
Thanks to everyone that showed there support!!! I really do appreciate it!!!

I never thought I could be so bored sitting at home. It really sucks that I can't do a whole lot while I am in recovery from this minor surgery. I can't ride my bike. I can't drive very far (much less sit in 1 position for very long). I rented some movies, and even went to the movies yesterday (I saw Prince Caspian). I am glad they have a few extra large and comfortable seats at the Theatre in my town because I was moving around every few minutes. Yeah, daytime T.V. is just awful!!! I am also getting tired of the Internet!!! I never thought I would say this, but getting well and going back to work sounds damn good! I must be losing my mind or getting old!!! I guess that I shouldn't really complain, but what else can I do? Oh and don't even ask about sex.......I feel like I have been castrated.......no sex drive what so ever!!! Just wish me luck and a speedy recovery so that I can get back on track!!!!
