I was at my parents house yesterday helping them move out of their house since they are getting older it is easier for them to live in an apartment. Since I was up real late packing I just fell asleep in the empty house. They lived in a pretty affluent area I suppose, lots of professionals living there and of course your "scrupulous" industrialists (laugh) etc. I am driving by the local high school on my way to the city and I see all these kids driving up to school in the morning looking for parking. So there are a couple of Range Rovers, Cadillacs and BMW's....nice.....then as I continue driving I see the whopper - a yellow lamborghini...you gotta be kidding me...a 17 year old driving to SCHOOL in a 350,000 dollar car???? WTF is that about...fine even if you have money coming out yet ass, what sort of value does that teach a kid? And when he is 25 or 35 what will he drive? Will he keep upgrading until eventually he just goes around being carried by human slaves? I had a good laugh. The more I looked around the more i realized that I think I grew up in a different time and age. Im not that old. hey if you have the money its yoru right to do whatever you want with it. i make a lot of money and i spend on things i want. its cool. but what ever happened to values? does that kids father,m while giving him a 350k car to drive also teach the value of charity and philanthropy? doubtful considering the demographic....where is the balance?
Ok this will be an oddity...I HATE to rant...but i figured here it would be like ranting into a void. attention is spent on woman of breath taking beauty, not on some dope like me and the nonsense I have to say.
