So why don't I draw anymore? I get that question a lot these days. I seem to be lacking inspiration- last year at this time I had just gotten my phone- I had new txt buddies- things where exciting, new, stimulating. I was drawing like crazy- now I only keep in touch daily with one person- love her to death- but I'm not excited like I was- so no drawing
I will draw again- but it isn't like the building I'm doing now- this stuff is easy- I don't need passion to do it- there's no emotion- when I draw I need that- as soon as the desire comes back- I WILL start drawing
XOXOXOX- peace- Jim

Back from my epic cross country road trip- haven't been on SG for ages! It was a long danger filled trip-
I had to fight my way past poison snakes-

Bears-

Creepers-

Giant lizards-

Raging rivers-

Rain, sleet, ice and snow (a real blizzard- thought I was gonna die)-

Spiders-

And of course I had to contend with the women-

I was fortified with yummy food-

And my trusty sidekick-

It was a great trip
Got to meet Blyde, Casshas, Tita, Rydell, Aadie and Cruella- and got to hang with Toxic, Audrisa and Chablis again
And of course I can't possibly thank Cadavre enough- she is the best- we spent a ton of time together- I just LOVE her- awesome doesn't even come close

xoxoxoxox- art next blog- promise!

OK kids- this is the step by step guide to making a piece for a gun

Start with a spoon- I marked where I hope to cut with a grease pencil.

This is after I've started cutting- using a Dremel tool and a cutting disc (SPARKS!!!)

Then you get a gritty bit and start to clean up the rough edges.

More clean up- really have to be sure all the edges are nice.

Then it's fine sandpaper to start to make things smooth and pretty

Test fit (a bunch of times) and final sanding and cleaning.

Now the fun part- painted a section with gold model paint- then light up the gas stove and stick the part in the fire. If done carefully you can get some really neat effects
Then dunk it in water and very carefully clean up with a fine wire brush and really fine sandpaper and spray with a couple of coats of clear.

All done
