had a frig'n awesome ass day! Went out for 2 jogs, got an oil change on my car, did some weight lifting (resting till I do more), ready to fire up just dance 2014 on xbox one, setting up my cleaning supplies to clean the house, and just overall feel freakin good.
I have 3 weeks before I go on a 4 day break, then one more week afterwards for a full week off. I just can't wait to have a full week of solid work outs and relaxation, and eventually a party with some Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U. Love it when I have days like today, they take everything bad that happened in the past week and toss em out of memory, so I can enjoy what is currently beautiful... Life, the beautiful night's sky as I jog, and the freedom of living in my own house so I can listen to music that just makes me feel so damned good. Don't know what it is about them, but damn.... maroon 5 really motivates me to push myself. It's like the melody reminds me how lucky I am, and the lyrics encourage me to find what I am missing. They really do have wonderful music (speaking about daylight and the love, their other songs are great, but those two songs are touching... And I love moves like jagger on just dance).
So I was a little taken back by my weight when I finally got a scale. 193lbs. I have been watching my calorie intake and been hard on myself to lift weights and do some cardio. But I guess it could be that I have been building dense muscle more than I have been burning fat. After all, I spend about a solid hour and a half lifting weights, and roughly 30 minutes to an hour doing cardio a day. That and I never checked my weight for the past 5 weeks of doing this routine. Think I may have been around 205 during the holidays, I kinda hibernated... :/
Anyway... Hoping to get rid of my student loans soon. I plan on getting my drum set back. Now that I am in fantastic shape, I have all this energy to play drums... But no drumset. Miss my electronic kit so much :(
