Looking to get back in a band. Its been awhile but sitting around making low quality recordings that no one is every going to listen to is no longer cutting it. Hopefully I can find another group I can mesh with again. If not I can always continue the crappy recordings. Good Times

Went to the Rolex Kentucky 3 Day event this weekend with the gf and friends. It was a fun time and got lots of cool pictures of horses jumping insanely tall cross country fences. Its a sight to see. Although I got burnt to a crisp because I am Casper white and sunscreen apparently doesn't help.
One of the bands my band has been playing with locally also just won a battle of the bands to open for the music is a weapon tour in Columbus, Ohio. Needless to say I am jealous to all hell but hope that they do our local scene here in Louisville justice and rock their faces off. Otherwise I am gonna have to kick them the next time we play with them. If you are going to that concert check Stallpoint out. My band is planning on recording something in June. Although we also said we would try and record something in April too and that never happened. If only we didn't have to have real jobs to fuel of desire to make music. Then all 4 of our not so die hard fans will have something to listen to. There might be 10 not so die hard fans.

Went to see Slipknot on V-Day. It was the greatest V-day every.

So last nights show was a train wreck. Gotta love faulty equipment. Good thing was there were only like 15 people there watching us. We still sounded good when we weren't having drums fall apart or guitar amps cutting out... Ahhhh its good to be poor.... But you live to fight another day. And I love music too much to stop going out and playing. Even if it is for only 15 people. It might have been closer to 20. But even with all the problems the crowd and us actually had fun. The train wreck shows always bring you back down to earth and make you realize how easily it can all go wrong. Probably good for us since we haven't had one of these yet. Anyway enough bitching and complaining time to go and find something else to do. Maybe go and figure out what made my amp cut out last night.... Or maybe not

Tonight another show, and the last one without a bass player... Makes me feel good when people ask you back to play. That means we must sound half way decent. anyway time to pack up the gear.. We play a 8

So there is snow everywhere, and I am still going to try and make it work.Dedication or stupidity you choose. The band is playing again this weekend. We found a bass player so this should be the last show without one. Even though I think we sound about the same with or without one. I posted a video in case anyone wants to see how crappy we can be. And how unRocker like we look. HAHA. Come to think about it why did I post a video at all. Boredom I think. At any rate back to figuring out how I am going to make it to work in my 2 wheel drive truck.....

Band plays this saturday at a bar around us called Shooters. It should be a fun time... I hope we win over some more people as fans, and hopefully we can go record something soon, that isn't crappy recordings in my basement..

My Band played our second show. We actually made money for this one. Hopefully we can get some more shows out of it.
