I've been traveling a lot for work lately. I was in St. Louis last week for work and will be in Jacksonville this week. I think I've traveled more this year than I have in the past five. Sadly, I don't have much of a life besides work and WoW but I'm working on it. I've got friends who know that I need to get out more so I don't turn into a hermit, which is good because they've been getting me out more. I did join a lesbian literature book club which is fun and hopefully will grow a bit more. I have to pick the book for next month so Ive been digging around for one. Any suggestions? Anywho, I'm off for my Intro to Judaism class @ 7p, so I'll write more later.

So, I turned 30 on March 19th, and celebrated it by going to work. Yup, I'm that exciting. I should note that my friend Jen B did come by my apartment with cake, ice cream, and presents. So the day wasn't a complete loss. I actually wasn't thinking much about the day a whole lot, it was more of a "Oh wait. I turn 30 this year." I bought myself the Collector's Edition of the Burning Crusade as a gift. I figured that if I couldn't afford it when it first came out (and had to buy the regular edition) I would buy it on Amazon when I could find a reasonable copy. So I completely geeked out and spent a good portion of the afternoon flipping through the art book, ripping the cd up to my hard drive, and calling Blizzard to upgrade from the normal expansion to the CE version. Now all of my characters have a netherwhelp. Of course now I need a good RP reason for my Draenei to have one...

In other news, I have a new job assignment at work. So far it's going well, I just feel like a giant wast of time because I have no real direction in training and feel like I should be doing a lot more work than I'm doing. On the bright side, they're flying me out to St. Louis for a week long meeting, and to Jacksonville for a two day training session. Which means I'm flying a lot in April. I have to work crazy hours though to make up the hours/pay that I'd be making working the swing shift, but I'm surviving.

We've got a new person in my intro to Judaism class. He's interesting and I'm not sure how he'll fit in. I think it's mostly because I've gotten used to it just being Rachel and I. I need to get caught up on my reading, and hopefully I'll get a chance too starting this weekend.

Becca was in town this weekend and we spent Friday wandering around the North Market on Spruce and up and down High St. in the Short North. Was a lot of fun, and I saw a couple of stores I'll try to go back to again.

I found a lesbian literary group on meetup.com so hopefully it'll give me a chance to get out of the house more. I do want to go to CD101 day at the LC, but don't want to go by myself. I don't suppose anyone else wants to go with me?

My car is currently sitting at Sears @ Eastland mall where it needs 937.32 worth of work. My insurance at least is paying 325 of it. Joy. I just picked up my rental car today and am currently driving an '07 Ford Focus. I actually like it. Mostly I think because it sits up higher than my current car.

And now, my contacts are bugging the hell out of me, so I think I'll try and track down some eye drops and try to go to bed since I have to be up at 5am in the morning.

So, I finally bit the bullet and joined Suicide Girls. I'd been thinking about it and putting it off for awhile now, but figured that it'd be worthwhile. So far I've just been looking around, but I'll probably un-lurk on the forums sometime soon.

Other than that, there's not too much going on, just working mostly and meeting some friends for dinner at Mongolian BBQ on Sawmill. It should be fun since I haven't eaten there in awhile nor seen them in awhile. Best of both no?
