I am so excited about Iron Man and Indiana Jones. I never read Iron Man but with 20 years or so of reading Marvel I've seen enough to appreciate the character. Harrison Ford has alway been my favorite actor, and what can ever be better than Indiana.

Today I saw a hawk flying along the road beside me for almost a 100 feet, it was beautiful.

Not much new going on around here, but horrorchick is telling me to update my blog. Work is starting to suck with the heat again, the climate control is just so screwed up in our building. Oh well, guess I can lose some weight from all the sweating. lol

One morning last week I did see a wolf hunting in the ditch about 3 miles from my house, and we have coyotes in the yard all the time. I love the country, its nice being close enough to Dallas to go in and be able to do things but the quite and beauty of the country I never want to give up.

This weekend I was driving back from Houston and while passing through a bad storm I saw lightning stike along the side of the raod ahead of me, it had such a large ball of fire and was very bright for 4 or 5 seconds. Even though seeing the strike like that was interesting it was one of those dark tornado type storm so it was not all that fun of a drive.

Death is all around me this month. One woman at work has lost her mother, another her aunt, my father-in-law, several friends on here have suffered loss, and now yesterday another lady at work lost her son to suicide. Nothing appeared to be bothering him, I guess sometimes you just can't tell.

We had the funeral for horrorchicks dad on the 17th, and it went as good as can be expected, its been a hard two weeks for her.

Edit: Just found out my wife's dad passed away.

We went to another horror convention on the 7th and got to see lots of cool actors. Many from the first and third Nightmare on Elm Street movies, a few from the Rob Zombie Halloween, Friday the 13th and some indie movies.

This week has been so stressful, seems like everything has gone wrong, but all the work has gotten done eventually.

Monday night we actually got a decent amount of snow here, not enough to be able to miss work tho, that is pretty rare we mostly get ice and sleet when it gets cold enough.

Went to Texas Frightmare weekend on the 24th, it was a great show. There were lots of people from the living dead movies plus Elvira.

In a weird mood today and was thinking of how I wanted my hair when in highschool but was not able to get away with.



On my drive to work I see 5 flocks of black vultures every day, just seeing them in the air or on the side of the road you don't realize how big they are. A couple of weeks ago 3 of them flew in front of my car and they are huge when you are seeing them a matter of feet away with their wings spread.

My cat Domino likes SG too.

horrorchick keeps telling me I need to update my blog. As things have been boring of late, just working and nothing else really going on there is nothing to update.



This is my Cherokee Booger Mask, I know I don't look it at all but I am part Cherokee.

Booger Masks have always been an integral component of Cherokee life, with the masks providing tribal members with coping mechanisms through symbolically mocking and making fun of the Cherokee caricatured enemies' features and characteristics in a bawdy and burlesque "Booger Dance".
