Everyone should go to that area of the country and check out as many of the National Parks as they can. It is such a beautiful landscape, and for the history buffs its awe inspiring to see ruins from 700 years or more ago.

The pictures are in my random folder, the rainbow shows much better than in the blog.

I wish I could go back in time and find the excitement and joy that the holidays used to be for me. Now the holidays are so commercialized, it has never had the same appeal to me since I spent three Christmas seasons working at Wal-Mart during college. Its nice to see family this time of year, but even that gets complicated because my mother-in-law hates to share time with my family.

I want to thank the wonderful people out there who have listened to my problems in the last few weeks, and also anyone who has left me any nice comments. You have all helped me get past the melancholy mood that hits me this time of year.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

My uncle says that Turkey Day is is his favorite holiday, he always calls it his day of revenge. When he was around seven or eight a neighbor down the street raised turkeys. One day he and some of the kids where out playing and they must have done something to the turkeys. Whatever happened a couple of the turkeys started chasing them. All the boys made it to my grandparents house and got inside the fence before the turkeys caught up with them, except for my uncle. Just as he was going through the gate one of them took a bite out of his ass. He still has a scar from it.

The Flu

Went to a Halloween party at my best friends place, I have known him for 25 years. He has been drawing cartoons every since I've known him and has been published in many magazines. Check out his website www.kitlively.com

I procrastinated so long that I did not have costumes for my wife and I, she let me know how unhappy she was about that. I will shop early next year, to avoid a similar fate.

It looks like we are going to have our first freeze of the winter tonight. BRRRR I've got my electric blanket on high.

I went to see my grandparents today, grandma is getting around pretty good using a walker.

Coming home I got the shit scared out of me. I was going under a bridge and a rock hit my windshield from out of nowhere. It was so loud it sounded like a gunshot, and little glass flakes flew all over me. I'm lucky no one was next to me because I jerked the wheel so hard I swerved all the way into the next lane. I hate assholes who throw shit at cars.

The little town I live in is something you would miss while driving by, its nothing more than a post office and some scattered houses. Its biggist claim to fame, or infamy I should say, is that its the place Charles " Tex" Watson of the Manson Family grew up in. Just goes to show that small towns are not exactly the safe places that they are made out to be in popular culture.

I found out today that my grandmother took a fall in the bathroom and broke her pelvic bone and spent three weeks in the hospital. The weird thing is that neither they or my dad told me about it. I'm glad she's home and that she is doing okay. I'm just confused a little as to why my grandad didn't tell me when I talked to him on the phone.

I watched the Scream Awards what a great show.

Got my tickets for the Burlesque show Nov. 4. Who else is going?
