Thursday night my brother graduated from high school, I am very proud of him. He is the first person from his mothers family to actually make it all the way through, and he graduated with honors also. I am so glad he took after my side of the family. It does make me feel just a little old since he was born during my second year of college. We went out to eat afterwards and I got to meet a lot of his cousins, and a couple of aunts.

good stuff! am I reading correctly that he'd be a half-brother then? must be weird to have a sibling that young...

it's kinda like with my mom's family: 9 kids, she's the fourth oldest... so I have cousins via her youngest brother who're the same age as my own kids.
