Today I'm getting tattooed as part of a wicked cool project. I can't reveal any details currently, but I will take some photos before the piece is covered and if I'm allowed to tell later, I will (I think once the ink is done, the cat is sort of out of the bag, right? )
Last night, Sicilia came to see me at work with her boyfriend/fianc and one of his friends, and after they left, people kept coming to me saying, "I didn't know you had a sister." Bahaha. We always get this and we really don't look alike at all (especially not in the photos you see here... in person, there must be something about us that is the same, because we've even been aske MORE THAN ONCE if we are twins... WTF?!)
I put some color into the work-in-progess on my right arm last weekend, but since the color was put in over the elbow and in "the ditch" {side note on DITCH tattoos: ugh ugh ugh. The sound of being tattooed here bothers me more than almost anything in the world} and a few of the more tender spots on the arm, it's still a little swollen (I'm always shocked by how long I experience swelling after I'm tattooed certain places, although the peeling and skin-healing goes so fast!) ... I said to a guy at the bar last night, "ugh, my arm is so fat and hot right now!" (don't tell me to worry- it's all fine!) and his hilarious response was, "oh, i have a body part like that too..." BAHAHAHHAHA
Coming from certain people, I would be totally put off but his presentation was just pure comedy. It was fucking classic. I wish I had it on video. It was so so so much funnier than how it sounds being typed.
I wish all parantheses were like this {so much prettier. too effing bad!}
End of year, physical transformation time:
- Time for a definite hair change very soon. Have started taking color out of a big piece of my hair.. gradually, because it is so so so so overdyed black. I've got it to a weird dark reddish currently, but color removers have not worked at all, and I've actually had to bleach it. Don't want to fry it, so I've taking my sweet ass time.
-Thinking of stretching my ears back to a 0 or 00. I did this in my delightful teenage years because I have little elf ears (no, really. They're not pointy, but almost everytime I show them, someone comments "you look like a little elf!!!" Oh, thanks. :surreal...I thought stretching the lobes a bit made my ears look more like human ears Plus, I dig gaudy plugs. When i was younger, I always wore crazy talons/claws, big, sharp, curving wood and metal things. They super cool, but I'd probably go for something more subtle now (if tacky fake gemstones and stuff count as subtle.... haha)
-Going to buy a new piece of jewelry for my septum, as I've been wearing a retainer and looking as if my septum isn't pierced at all. It is, it is, it is still. It's just hiding. I think I just want a really small CBB.
-And of course, the new tattoo stuff I've been saying.
How about you?
Do you tend to make physical changes all at once or do you do things gradually?
PS
Don't forget me, don't forget me!

lemonkid:
I tagged your set.

The big change for me would be to shave the beard...sure I could trim, then goatee. Can't do it though - I have no desire to look younger at this point. I am taken more serious with it.
