NIGHT

i sit and watch it roll by
the clouds moving in the moonlight
all moving and joining erratically
like people walking down the street
it moves my heart
no matter where i am
the clouds glow
the caring moon makes sure all whitnesses remember
their unforgettable splendor
natural yet beautiful
and all of humanity watches in awe
darkness is beautiful
blackness is best enjoyed for the anominity it affords
with small twinkles of light
like life with its infinite sadness
speckled with spots of happiness
a wasted eternity
watching the night pass
bothered by the nothingness
but fearing change from the uniformity of normality

LOVE AND PAIN

Love is pain
but also a friend
in the end what else do you have?
all is motivated by one or the other
if you have neither you have never really lived
without both you are incomplete
one and the same
hand in hand they walk unconsiously
like lovers that have yet to meet
not know what is to become all they have ever lived for
one and the same
does one not bring the other
can you truly have one without the next?
Truth is truly omnipotent and powerful but even it will lead to either
as can greed
love of anything is greed
then call me greedy
love and pain is all life is made of
