what the hell is kik?

kik is a mobile messenger that acts more like a text messenger.. runs in the background so it doesn't drain battery life and stuff. I recently deleted it because of lack of use though.

I don't really messg w/ ppl lol. I keep gtalk on all the time, or text. skype drains battery too. even running in the background.
