Funerals are despicable. The opportunistic preachers never fail to preach to their captive audiences about shit that doesn't have anything to do with the deceased. They just have to seize the moment and try to convert as many people as possible while those people can't go anywhere.


Viewings and open caskets are equally despicable, why would you ever want to remember someone like that? Remember them when they were full of life, not when they look like they should be in a wax museum.


I do NOT want a funeral when I die, hell I don't even want to be buried. Save the real estate for something useful. Cremate me, scatter my ashes somewhere cool and move on. Have a party, celebrate the life I had, don't mourn my death.
