hmmmm... camera's are difficult question to answer and i'm by no means an expert but it depends on what your wanting. Are you wanting a camera with film in it or you wanting a digital. Digital's are nice and i love them to death but they can't replicate the quality of a real camera but in a real camera with film your always going to wonder if the pictures are going to turn out or not. Digital you can tell right there.

Going with a Digital you want to get something with a lot of megapixels the more the better the camera mine is 5.1 megapixels and i got it for about 150 bucks I think. Its a good camera for my needs or anyone that is just wanting something for pictures. If your wanting something more professional looking them your going to want to get way up there in the megapixels. Kodak has good ones and while I can't think of the other brands Nikon is one i believe and a couple others the brand doesn't really seem to matter all that much other then a feature here or there and the price of the camera itself. Look around find one you like for a price you can afford and start taking pictures.

Go for a Kodak C875 or similar you won't be disappointed and it's idiot proof.
