I'm throwing a "Man Shower" on Sunday. I attended a foofy ass Baby Shower a week or two ago with a buddy of mine. Lots of old women saying "oooooooo's" and "aaahhhhhh's." He was not diggin it. I can see why it's usually a girl thing. SoOo i've decided i'm goin to throw my own Manly Baby Shower so i can include all our friends.

I've got a keg comin on sunday at 2 and filled the tank on the BBQ. To get through our door all drinkers and eaters must bring a bag of any sized Huggies (those are diapers)... I encouraged all attendees to bring some cash so they can participate in the baby pool where the person closest to the actual time and date of the babies birth gets 50% of the pot and the new parents get the other 50%.

i'm hopin to pre-pile my friends with diapers this weekend hopefully they'll have a good stock that will last them for awhile.

after being on the road for most of the last year.. i have retired from touring. For now at least. I don't know if i'll ever really want to start again, but we'll see. Even though i don't see my family that much while i'm at home, just the fact that if i wanted to, i could. I missed my nephew and friends over the last year. And why leave this fucking place anyways... Southern California is amazing. My time back has been fucking awesome too. So yea. peace.

So it looks like i will be moving out to Austin, TX for the month of March. SXSW will be happening sometime in there.. I can't wait.

so tomorrow, well actually today i leave for 5 days. i'll be in Fullerton tomorrow and then the San Fran/Nor Cal area after that.

I saw Unwritten Law at the H.O.B. tonight.. Everytime i see them live, i fall in love all over. That band is one of the fuckin radest bands live. I think Scott was even sober for once. Still pulled off a fucking rad show. They did 5 or 6 songs acoustic in the middle of the set.. kept the crowd on a string.

I get home and my rommie pulls up in Mercedes G500 AMG (that square looking thing that has to be way overpriced). He asked if i wanted to take the thing for a spin after all the shit talking i've always done about the thing.. that is one of the most impressive cars i have ever driven. The Ferrari is still the best.. but G500 is next. He even told me to take the thing in a dirt lot and hit some huge bumps. Flawless. It was a like a Ferrari for the dirt. Fast as hell!

Other GOOD news, I got hired at a new "Fine Dine" place tonight.. Lost my schedule though on the way back to my car. hah.. Everything can't be perfect.. although today seemed pretty damn close... And with that, I'm off to bed.

So I have the night off. We are on our way to the San Fran area tonight. Then we'll head to Santa Cruz tomorrow around noon for the show. Hopefully it will be good. Then its off to Chain Reaction in Anahiem. I think I'm gonna skip the show at the viper room..

The window to my right is freeeezing. If it was metal and I licked it, I'd have to say my tongue might just stick. Even though there is no snow outside. I've always wanted to try it. I love the calm feeling of no street lights and being out in the middle of no where and all the stars I can lay my eyes on. They are all mine. Mine, mine, mine.

I'm in Tacoma, Washington at Guitar Maniacs, an awesome fucking guitar shop. All sorts of very rare and crazy guitars. Tonight I'll be in Seattle, Washington with some kiddies... Fuck yea! Here, the sun sets in the North.

I am on my way to Portland, Oregon for a show tonight with Reeve Oliver and Yellowcard. Oregon is awesome. My first time ever in the state.
